Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Atlas is currently seeking a candidate to fill an immediate full-time opening to perform construction materials testing/inspection including, but not limited to:

  • Soils sampling and testing, concrete sampling and testing, masonry sampling and testing, asphalt testing, reinforcing steel inspection.
  • Candidate must be able to communicate effectively and accurately prepare field reports in accordance with report standards and applicable codes.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years of experience within this or similar field
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
  • Fluent in English (oral/written)

Technical Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • ACI Concrete Sampling Technician I certification preferred
  • Nuclear Soil Density Testing experience preferred

Other miscellaneous qualities:

  • Additional CTQP certifications in soils, concrete and asphalt are desired/preferred
  • Candidate must be willing to travel throughout the state of Florida and stay out of town when necessary.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
