A fully modernized, five-star rated sports orthopedic and outpatient rehabilitation clinic based in New Jersey is currently seeking Physical Therapist Assistants for their Jersey City, NJ locations. The PTA who joins this team will be tasked with assisting in conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. The base pay range for this position is $30 to $35 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients referred to outpatient rehabilitation services to assess impairments, functional limitations, and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment programs utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, modalities, and functional activities to promote optimal physical function and mobility.
• Monitor patient progress regularly and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals and outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, home exercise programs, and techniques for improving functional independence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Participate in staff meetings, continuing education opportunities, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice, demonstrating empathy, integrity, and respect in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Licensed NJ Physical Therapist Assistant
• At least 1 year experience as a PTA in a clinical setting (preferred)
• Open to new grads!
