We are thrilled to announce the launch of our client’s brand-new Outpatient Recovery Center, and we are actively seeking a dynamic and passionate Social Worker to join their team!

As an Outpatient Recovery Center Social Worker, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of our innovative recovery program. This position provides a unique opportunity to work closely with a team of dedicated psychiatrists, offering comprehensive support to individuals on their journey to recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of individuals entering the program.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other members of the multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based, trauma-informed individual and group therapy sessions.
• Support clients in developing coping strategies and life skills essential for sustained recovery.
• Work closely with psychiatrists to coordinate and integrate mental health and medical care.
• Participate in case conferences and treatment planning meetings to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of the Outpatient Recovery Center program.
• Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in addiction treatment.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients in acute distress.
• Collaborate with the team to develop safety plans and appropriate interventions.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LMHC) in New York.
• Experience in substance abuse and addiction treatment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for working with individuals on their path to recovery.

Please note- The annual base salary range is $65k to $75k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
