A renowned community health center based in NYC is currently seeking bilingual Spanish Nurse Practitioners for their location in Queens. You would be tasked with providing primary medical care to a panel of adult patients with acute, chronic conditions.

The base pay range for this position is $55 to $75 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer. Responsibilities:

• Provide primary medical care to a panel of adult patients including LGBT and people living with chronic HIV infection; assess and manage acute conditions including STDs, URis,
• Provide basic mental health screening and treatment of non-emergency mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression
• Evaluate patients in a timely manner
• Participate in night and weekend call on occasion
• Explain treatment and conditions to patients in an appropriate and understandable manner
• Treat all patients regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, English competency, immigration status, ability to pay, religion or age

Qualifications:

• NYS Nurse Practitioner License (ANP/FNP)
• Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice
• Knowledge of HIV medical care and/or working with LGBT population preferred
