Atlas Management is hiring a Health ad Safety Coordinator for a Tire Manufacturing facility in the Lansing, MI area. If you are qualified for the Health and Safety position, this job is for you!
Health and Safety Coordinator
Location : Lansing, MI 48917
Salary : $26.00-$28.00 per hour
Schedule : 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, some Saturdays , . 4 : 30pm to 1 : 00am .
Contract- 6 months
Job Description
Main Duties :
To include, but not be restricted to, the following duties :
1. Provide general support, assistance to the Health and Safety Manager.
2. Assist the Health and Safety Manager with Health and Safety monitoring activities.
4. Assist with audits, produce audit reports and follow up any actions.
5. Assist with clerical and coordinate online training sortware processes
6. Liaise closely with the Facilities Management team to manage issues relating to the facilities service provision, and specifically waste disposal, buildings, fire safety equipment, electrical testing and safety audit non-compliances.
7. Provide clerical support to the Health and Safety Manager
Required Skills
Knowledge in station Ergonomics, updating station / robot lock out tag out instruction
Ensure mandatory trainings completed and turned in on time
Knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of OSHA requirements / standards, OSHA 10 or 30 course
Maintain incident reports
Communication skills reporting out incidents / environmental issues.
Education / Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years
- EMT experience a
