POSITION OVERVIEW

The Treasury Accountant will play a critical role in analyzing our company's cash flow, funding transfers, and overseeing bank accounts. This position requires a strategic thinker with a keen understanding of treasury principles. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manage daily cash positions and forecasts.
• Execute cash management activities, including cash concentration, disbursements, and funding transfers to optimize cash flow efficiency.
• Oversee the administration of corporate credit facilities, bank accounts, and electronic payment systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Participate in the yearly audit process to provide information for the external auditors.
• Support tax compliance efforts by providing documentation and information to tax preparers.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and filings.
• Monitor bank transactions and report any unusual activity.
• Prepare periodic reports and presentations for senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance role.
• Strong understanding of cash management principles, financial markets, and banking operations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence key stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
