Atlantic Medical Imaging is seeking a motivated, hard-working Accounting Clerk in the Corporate Office location. This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient Radiology practice.
AMI offers a generous compensation and benefits package including medical, prescription, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, Paid Time Off (PTO), 401k and profit sharing and the opportunity to work in an exciting and progressive outpatient practice.
The responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk include, but are not limited to:
- Sorts incoming mail and invoices in preparation for coding and filing;
- Matches contracted prices and Purchase Orders to invoices;
- Provides backup with inputting of invoices and weekly check processing;
- Reconciles Daily Cash (Co-Pay) deposits;
- Makes weekly bank deposits as needed;
- Records activity for AMI related companies; and
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This full time, 40 hour per week position is based in AMI's Corporate Office location. The work schedule includes Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm. Schedules are subject to change based on department needs.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with accounting software is strongly preferred; experience with Sage Intacct is a plus. Two years of accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred. Demonstrated ability in bank reconciliation is required.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong computer skills; experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, is required. Candidates must be highly organized, with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is necessary for success in this role.
