Our client, a Boston based private equity firm is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to join their finance team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Handle all finance and accounting related matters to private equity funds
· Report all daily accounting activity in system
· Help with preparation of financial statements
· Work with capital allocations
· Build out reports for investor meetings
· Work with investor relations to provide portfolio financial information
· Monitor all cash activity including reconciliations
· Work with different departments of firm including compliance for legal documentation
· Prepare and report on all investor calls
EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
· 2-5 years experience in public accounting or alternative investment firm
· Experience with private equity preferred
· CPA preferred
· Strong GAAP knowledge
· Excellent Excel skills
· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with upper management and interface with all departments
