```Duties:```
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by providing necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile
- Set up and maintain sterile fields and surgical trays
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide assistance as required
- Handle specimens for laboratory analysis
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, supplies used, and patient information
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe surgical environment
- Monitor patient vital signs during surgery and report any abnormalities to the surgical team
- Assist with patient positioning and draping
```Requirements:```
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Surgical Assistant or in a similar role
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Assistant program
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment
- Proficiency in sterile techniques and aseptic practices
- Familiarity with Epic or other electronic medical record systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in pediatric surgery or acute care settings is preferred
