Position Summary
The Marketing Manager plays a critical role in helping AVLF advance its mission “to create safe and stable homes and families by inspiring the fight for equal justice.” Through their creative and compassionate work, we can:
Attract tenants throughout Fulton County who may be facing housing neglect and injustices from their landlords or property management companies.
Advocate for individuals, families, and survivors who are experiencing intimate partner abuse and stalking.
Grow our family of volunteer attorneys and/or law firms eager to help us deliver top-flight, pro-bono legal services.
The Marketing Manager will help us achieve this and more through the project management and fulfillment of AVLF’s day-to-day digital marketing needs (website, social media, email); visual storytelling, and creative services/graphic design; as well as promoting AVLF’s Development/Fundraising campaigns and events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Works directly with AVLF’s programmatic and fundraising teams to develop and implement marketing strategies and tactics (events, initiatives, and campaigns).
Enforces AVLF’s brand guidelines/standards and leads the production of marketing collateral, initiatives, presentations, annual reports, and newsletters.
Manages and maintains AVLF’s digital marketing channels (website, social media, board portal).
Monitors and measures AVLF’s Marketing KPIs (success metrics).
Provides communications support, when needed.
Education and Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant work experience in marketing, graphic design, and/or communications.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite (and Google Analytics), Mailchimp, and WordPress.
Proficient in graphic design and utilizing programs such as Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD).
Experience using photography and video editing applications is an asset.
Experience creating content for and managing social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube).
Experience designing basic promotional materials such as signage and making updates to poster templates.
Experience creating and analyzing results of email marketing campaigns.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write for a variety of media (e.g., print, web, news, social) and translate complicated research into communications accessible by a wide audience.
Attention to detail and a commitment to executing with excellence.
Familiar with project management systems and/or tools (Trello, Asana, Monday, Airtable, Smartsheets, MS Project Management)
Working Conditions:
Candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively. Works in a fast-paced office environment with work requiring multi-tasking.
Required:
Candidate must provide work samples/portfolio as well as professional references.
Compensation details: 70000-75000 Yearly Salary
