About our practice:The Atlanta Dental Center has been serving patients in Atlanta since 1982. We offer a high-paced clinical environment with the latest dental technology (CEREC, Virtual Reality Dynamic Surgical Guidance, 3D X-Rays, Digital X-Rays, Advanced Oral Photography, paperless patient charts, etc.). Our doctors are highly accomplished amongst their peers with Fellowships and Accreditations in a variety of dental associations. We offer benefits and clear routes to skill improvements (including training).We do not participate in any insurance networks, however, we do accept insurance and we see many new patients every day we are open. We also have specialist dentists on staff, including a Periodontist and Prosthodontist. We have full-time employment (40hrs) for all staff.Our Location: 620 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 204, Atlanta, GA 30308 http://atlantadentalcenter.com/The Hours for this Position: Monday 8:45 am- 4:45 pm, Tuesday 7:40am-4:40 pm, Wednesday 8:45 am-6:45 pm, Thursday 7:40 am-4:40 pm, and Friday 7:15 am-3:00 pm.Your Mission(s): Your two primary missions are to:1) Graciously, professionally and in a very friendly manner, answer the very busy phones with a smile - then quickly and correctly route the calls to the appropriate employee – and, 2) Greet the patients and other visitors to the office in person when they arrive in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner.
Specific responsibilities & duties: 
  • Answering very busy phones with a smile / routing the calls quickly to the correct person or taking accurate messages
  • Greeting patients and visitors in person with a welcoming smile and a friendly – yet professional manner
  • Creating & updating patient files in Dentrix software
  • Preparing and sending patient letters
  • Keeping the reception area neat, tidy and well stocked with magazines, coffee, etc.
  • Other administrative and organizational duties, as assigned, associated with front office duties
Required qualifications:
  • Ability to answer the phone all day long with a smile in your voice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Ability to present a genuinely friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor at all times
  • Competent computer skills required
  • Dentrix software skills are a plus.
  • Must speak and write English fluently and clearly.

  • Responsible for job and patient
  • Highly ethical (when interacting with patients, this is very important)
