The Atlanta Athletic Club(AAC)is a 125 year-old prestigious, private family-oriented country club located in Johns Creek. We are ranked #3 by Platinum Clubs of America for the 2021-22 year. Our facilities include two 18-hole championship golf courses, a par-three 9-hole course, tennis center with pickle ball courts, Fitness Center, Aquatics Center, Spa and a beautiful Clubhouse, which offers a variety of dining options, meeting space and banquet facilities. The Club offers a wide variety of adult and children's programs and activities to provide a well-rounded environment for our members.

Our Fitness Center has a wonderful opportunity for someone whose interest is in the Sports and Fitness Industry. The Fitness Center is in need of a Part-Time Fitness Center Attendant. The candidate will maintain a professional and business profile while acting as an AAC representative. He/she/they will promote our service philosophy and mission of the AAC.

Summary:

Provide a welcoming and customer service oriented environment to ensure member and guest satisfaction along with cleaning responsibilities throughout the Fitness Center.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work as directed to support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club.
• Provide members with exceptional customer service
• Provide Fitness Center and Club information to members.
• Fulfill daily obligations and checklists including but not limited to: Restocking towels, cleaning and various janitorial duties.
• Perform walk through of all areas to ensure cleanliness and to ensure equipment is operating properly.
• Report any failing mechanicals or broken equipment to the immediate supervisor/manager and front desk.
• Report unauthorized people in or around facility to the manager on duty.
• All Fitness Center Attendants will be cross-trained in all areas throughout the facility to enable one to fill in where necessary

• Front Desk
• Locker Room
• Laundry
• Workout Areas

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be organized
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess excellent customer service.
• Available afternoon, evenings, week days, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to members and guests.
• Must greet and route and accept/ordered supplies.
• Must be able to communicate information as needed to external departments & coworkers.

Education:

• High school diploma or College Degree in a fitness related field
• CPR and First Aid Certification

Schedule:

We are looking for a team member that has availability Sunday 10:00 am to 6:30 pm and Monday and Tuesday 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Future team member MUST be able to work at least three days a week with one day being on the weekend.

Job Type: Part-time

Hourly rate: $12.00 per hour to start and $13.00 within 90 days if performing satisfactorily.
