What you’ll be doing:

• Performs all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments.
• Performs activities related to the accounts receivable function including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition.
• Performs payroll processing in an accurate and timely manner, and prepares payroll tax reports (business and household, quarterly and annual).
• Prepares sales tax reports and other tax reports as needed.
• Prepares annual Form 1099s and 1096.
• Maintains and balances the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner.
• Reconciles bank accounts and credit card accounts in preparation for month-end review and closing.
• Reconciles intercompany accounts.
• Prepares financial statements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 2 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent time management skills
• Great communication skills and interest in working with clients in a variety of industries

If selected for an interview, you will be required to pass a bookkeeper knowledge test provided by ATKG.
