Project Estimator
ATI Restoration, LLC. (ATI) is a national leader in construction restoration. ATI takes pride in assisting all of our customers and clients - no project is too big or too small. As a part of our national expansion efforts, we are adding to our teams. We are looking to fill a role on our Central Estimating Team to support our growth and to improve in standardizing our estimating practices. Creating estimates for both mitigation and reconstruction in both the residential and commercial structure will require an expert on all phases of the life-cycle of a restoration loss.

Job Description
The Project Estimator estimates and budgets the progress of water, fire, smoke and other losses, serving as the key link with sales and operations. While maintaining strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards, the Project Estimator must periodically inspect project sites, ensure project documents are complete and identify the elements of the project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims. You will be responsible for understanding estimate and scope preferences, creating estimates and budgets based upon site visits or geospatial technology. Candidates must be proficient in Xactimate, structural building experience, and preferably have insurance restoration experience.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Project Estimator will include, but not be limited to the following:
  • Producing estimates for ATI's jobs and opportunities
  • Estimates are to be prepared according to the individual, team, and company's standards for time & delivery, revenue, and margin
  • Estimates will be written based upon job walk or geospatial information provided.
  • Review estimates for quality and accuracy against company or TPA standards.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, insurance companies, insurance adjusters, clients, customers, and all other parties involved in claims and establish a good rapport with all
parties and determine appropriate plans to get the building back to pre-loss condition as quickly as possible.
  • Collaborate internally to address team needs, set goals, and assist the team in improving quality, performance, and deliverables.
  • This position may require some travel
  • This position must be willing to work odd hours, weekends and holidays, as called upon
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously over a multiple locations
  • Participate in continued education and training
  • Additional responsibilities will be addressed at a later date.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Experience in negotiating projects in a claims environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with source removal, decontamination, mitigation,
containment, ventilation, contents, and deodorization techniques
  • Experience with Geospatial Technologies such as Matterport or DocuSketch
  • Experience with TPAs, MRPs, and satisfying carrier requirements for contractors
  • Understanding blueprints/plans and building code is a plus!
Qualifications:
  • Experience with Project Direction and Project Management
  • Extensive project estimation experience in multiple markets, for both residential and commercial properties, for emergency services and reconstruction projects
  • XACTIMATE Level Two or Three Certification
  • CoreLogic/ClaimsConnect/MobileClaims software knowledge Preferred*
  • IICRC Certifications are Preferred*
  • EPA Lead RRP (Renovation, Repair, and Painting) CertificationPreferred*
  • OSHA 30 Certification Preferred*
  • General Contractor License Preferred*
Compensation
The Project Estimator position is a full time position that will be eligible for a competitive salary and bonus. Other compensation items the Project Estimator will be eligible for include:
  • Reimbursement of approved business related marketing and promotional expenses.

Base Salary Range: $65,000-$100,000 Plus Incentive
