ATC Healthcare of Delaware is Hiring a School Psychologist Near Wyoming, DE

We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in Wyoming, Delaware. In this role, you will provide essential services to students with a wide range of abilities, ranging in age from 2 to 22 years old. You will work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of all students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop appropriate interventions.
  • Consult with teachers and parents to support the implementation of evidence-based practices and interventions in the classroom and at home.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in the field of school psychology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Delaware (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Experience working with students with diverse abilities and backgrounds in traditional and special education settings.
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
