Job Summary :

At Home Companions is seeking a full-time CHHA (Certified Home Health Aide) to join our team working with a client in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey.

The individual in this role will provide compassionate and professional care to our clients in their homes.

This is a non-supervisory, individual contributor role and the schedule will consist of hourly shifts.

The CHHA will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living tasks, supervising and monitoring their health and well-being, and providing companionship and support as needed.

Compensation & Benefits :

This is a full-time, hourly healthcare / medical position with a compensation range of $18 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities :

• Provide basic care to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with medication management and reminders
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties
• Complete documentation and maintain accurate records of clients' care
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with household tasks, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the rest of the care team

Requirements :

• Must hold a current CHHA certification in the state of New Jersey
• Prior experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must pass a background check
