What do we need?

We are searching for a Financial Paraplanner who will provide superior customer service and assist advisors with investment and financial planning reports and preparation.

The responsibilities we’ll trust you with:

  • Collaboration with Advisor: Work in tandem with Financial Advisor to refine strategies, optimize plans, and enhance the overall client experience.
  • Data Entry and Analysis: Efficiently handle data entry tasks and analyze financial information to support the creation of financial plans.
  • Financial Modeling: Utilize financial modeling tools to develop scenarios, projections, and simulations in alignment with client goals and objectives.
  • Plan Presentation and Updates: Assist in the preparation and presentation of financial plans, ensuring clarity and relevance to clients, as well as regularly update and adjust financial plans based on changes in client circumstances, market conditions, or financial goals.
  • Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to gather necessary information, provide updates on plan progress, and address any queries related to the financial planning process.
  • Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, meeting preparation & follow up, and client account opening and maintenance.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry best practices, financial products, and tools to contribute to the enhancement of planning services.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

  • Career to date: Previous experience as a financial paraplanner or a similar role
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and evaluate clients' financial situations to assist in developing comprehensive financial plans.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with financial planning software, tools, and platforms commonly used in the industry.
  • Certifications: FINRA licenses 7 & 66, as well as other industry-recognized credentials.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication, both written and verbal, to explain complex financial concepts clearly to clients.
  • Passion for Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with financial advisors, investment professionals, and other team members.
