JOB DESCRIPTION
RTA Fleet Management is looking for a Marketing Events Specialist for Business (B2B) Events. You have worked for a technology, event, or other brand that sells to other businesses. For this role, you must have experience leading business-oriented events where the goals were brand recognition and sales lead generation. Come help solidify our position as the #1 fleet management software for public and commercial fleets.
You’ll lead RTA-sponsored meetups, large B2B industry tradeshows, RTA partner events, virtual seminars, and internal company events.
You’re SAVVY enough to advise our branding and digital marketing execution experts so that our events generate brand engagement and sales leads.
You will propose, and project manage creative marketing campaigns considering pre-show, in-show, and post-show customer touchpoints.
You will develop campaign briefs, assign action steps, and coordinate all campaign deliverables from conception to promotion and tracking.

Key Results Areas (aka the Job Outcomes)
Department due dates and deliverables are met.
Successful trade show execution and reporting.
KPI attainment: Booth visits, Leads per Event, Social mentions, Meetings scheduled, Pipeline Generated, Return-on-Investment.
Effective marketing department support.
Detailed Duties:
Event Management – Manage trade show promotion, production, booths, shipping, budget, and post-show lead assignments to sales team.
Project Management – Manage marketing projects and campaigns, including time tracking, task assignments, and deliverable completion.
Collaborate and ensure accountability with vendors and contractors.
Content Support – work with comms team on show specific messaging and offers. Assist with print projects, and updates to website and social media.
Customer Reference – Maintain and support the RTA customer referral program by collecting leads, distributing incentives, and tracking success.
Assist with the promotion of our annual RTA Customer Conference.
Manage branded conference Swag/Tsotchkes (marketing logo items) and sales collateral. Order new materials and ship them to events for sales use.

REQUIREMENTS
The candidate’s “events” experience must include B2B tradeshows, projects, and digital marketing campaigns that support lead-generation goals.
Has a foundational knowledge of B2B marketing principles.
Possesses a high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently.
Experience using design software (Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite).
Has experience using marketing automation tools (HubSpot).
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, or related field
Occasional Travel (mostly local)for tradeshows and events.
