Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Specialist/Senior Test Engineer for the Tenants Contract , supporting the Air Force Division at the Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorates Technology Integration Division (AFRL/RWI) .

JOB DETAILS:

LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FL

JOB STATUS: FT

TRAVEL: 5-10%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Masters Degree
• 10 years of experience in test engineering
• Secret Clearance with ability to maintain Top Secret (US Citizenship required
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite. Expert skills in Microsoft Excel, maintaining multiple spreadsheets & tracking test events and test data

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• DAWIA Test and Evaluation Level II, or Practitioner desired
• Prior AF or DoD experience with Developmental and/or Operational Flight Test desired. Weapons testing experience is an additional plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide support for test planning and execution, to include defining test objectives and data requirements, participation in pre-test technical and safety reviews, and analysis of test data.
• Provide real-world operator/warfighter experience and expertise on next-generation weapon development capability planning and problem-solving
• Provide cross-functional team support with expertise in acquisition program management, test and evaluation, aircraft operations, and international military affairs
• Provide technical advice on new, high profile quick reaction Science and Technology programs
