Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a senior test engineer for the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services contract, supporting the Air Force Division.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Masters degree and 12 years of directly related experience, of which 5 years must be in DoD; or 15 years of directly related experience in lieu of masters degree, of which 5 years must be in DoD; or 20 years’ experience in lieu of degree.
• Top secret clearance.
• COMSEC experience

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Experience with Type 1 products including INE, LEF, SCIP products, and other Type 1 cryptography desired.
• Experience in networking (routers, switches and HAIPE/LEF devices) desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical assistance on information assurance products and solutions, with focus on Type 1 products including INEs, LEF, and SCIP products.
• Troubleshoot, update software, and conduct testing.
• Develop unique security solutions.
• Resolve integration interoperability issues.
• Assist in the design of secure network architectures.
• Provide engineering sustainment support to field users.
• Evaluate security products and systems.
• Perform integration testing.
