Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer for the RWESS contract , supporting the Army Division.

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: Redstone Arsenal, AL

JOB STATUS: Full Time

TRAVEL: X%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Minimum 4-year degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field.
• Proficiency in the Python programming language
• Ability to prepare, analyze, and effectively communicate the findings of data analysis to customers, RTC leadership, and outside stakeholders.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work directly with test teams to provide programming support.
• Develop Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines for data
• Work directly in support of Army modernization priorities including working directly on and around helicopters, missiles, and sensors.
• Opportunity to attain a Class III flight physical to support experimental flight test in rotary wing and fixed wing flight test, as well as attain explosive handling certification in support of missile flight test requirements.
