Job Summary:
The Home Health Office Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This individual must have a strong background in home health and possess the ability to oversee various administrative functions, including intake processes, medical records management, office operations, and assistance with human resources.
```Responsibilities```
1. Intake Process Management:
· Oversee and streamline the intake process for new patients.
· Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure timely and accurate patient assessments.
· Coordinate with insurance providers to verify coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
2. Medical Records Oversight:
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
· Implement and enforce procedures to safeguard patient confidentiality.
· Collaborate with clinicians to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.
3. Office Operations:
· Manage day-to-day office operations to optimize efficiency.
· Supervise administrative staff and provide guidance as needed.
· Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures.
4. Human Resources Assistance:
· Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new office staff.
· Coordinate training programs for employees as needed.
· Address HR-related inquiries and concerns in collaboration with the HR department.
5. Quality Assurance:
· Monitor and assess the quality of administrative processes.
· Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall office performance.
· Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in home health care, with a focus on office management.
· Familiarity with relevant regulations, such as Medicare and Medicaid requirements.
· Strong organizational and leadership skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Proficiency in office software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
