Registered Dietician 

Aston Health is hiring a full-time Registered Dietician. Our mission is to personalize the wellness journey by providing skilled nursing and rehabilitation experiences that are designed around the needs of each individual. We have earned a reputation for exceptional service and attention when providing rehabilitation, assisted living, and skilled nursing care.

Job Duties:

·Coordinate nutritional care of residents and patients by completing nutritional assessments.

·Participate in IDT meetings as required.

·Provide nutritional counseling and education for residents and family.

·Provides dietary in-service training as required.

·Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

·Good decision making and judgment capabilities.

·Ability to identify and solve complex problems.

·Great communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

·High comfort level with enteral nutrition, wounds, weight management, Hemodialysis.

·Comfortable working in a healthcare facility.

·Familiarity with state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations.

The successful candidate will:

·Have a Registered Dietitian credential and FL license.

·Provide nutritional care to the long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients.

·Plan, organize, develop, and direct the nutritional care of the resident in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, regulations and established facility/company policies and procedures.

·Be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences.

·Valid Florida Driver’s License

·Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff.

·Experience with electronic charting such as Point Click Care is a plus

·Monday to Friday
