Registered Dietician (RD)

We are hiring a full-time Registered Dietician (RD). Our mission is to personalize the wellness journey by providing skilled nursing and rehabilitation experiences that are designed around the needs of each individual. We have earned a reputation for exceptional service and attention when providing rehabilitation, assisted living, and skilled nursing care.

Job Duties:

·Coordinate nutritional care of residents and patients by completing nutritional assessments.

·Participate in IDT meetings as required.

·Provide nutritional counseling and education for residents and family.

·Provides dietary in-service training as required.

·Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

·Good decision making and judgment capabilities.

·Ability to identify and solve complex problems.

·Great communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

·High comfort level with enteral nutrition, wounds, weight management, Hemodialysis.

·Comfortable working in a healthcare facility.

·Familiarity with state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations.

The successful candidate will:

·Have a Registered Dietitian credential and FL license.

·Provide nutritional care to long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients.

·Plan, organize, develop, and direct the nutritional care of the resident in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, regulations and established facility/company policies and procedures.

·Be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences.

·Valid Florida Driver’s License

·Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff.

·Experience with electronic charting such as Point Click Care is a plus

·Monday to Friday

·Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
