Aston Carter is Hiring a Talent Specialist Near Baltimore, MD

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an ambitious but implementable plan to recruit and hire world-class staff to comprise innovation teams around the U.S.
  • Work and coordinate with program leadership, center Human Resources, and JHU Talent Acquisition to identify and recruit top talent.
  • Research, develop, and implement local networking and recruitment strategies specific to individual cities across the U.S. to attract passive local talent.
  • Represent the Center as well as the funder and program to external partners and candidates; serve as a resource for programmatic and employment information while also functioning as a bridge to additional SMEs and connecting candidates with program or JHU leaders as appropriate.
  • Develop and utilize project management tools to coordinate this recruitment and hiring effort.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, risk management, and other reports and documentation to Center leadership.
  • Coordinate selection processes with multiple stakeholders, including partners within city halls.
  • Promote synergies with teams across the Center to propose and develop sustainable and innovative solutions.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
