DOD SkillBridge

As part of our diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, we offer a Military and Veteran Resource Program in partnership with the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD). If you’re within 180 days of transitioning from military service, you could be eligible for the DOD SkillBridge program, which provides access to competitive internship opportunities with Aston Carter. The program includes extensive training options, hands-on experience and opportunities for full-time employment with Aston Carter to help set you up for success on your new career journey.

Recruiter Internship Opportunities

Primary Responsibilities

As a recruiter, you’ll impact both job seekers and clients by finding the right people for the right jobs. As you continue to grow in the role, you’ll also have opportunities for advancement into senior recruiter roles or a sales career path.

• Identifying qualified candidates through various recruiting and sourcing tools
• Screening and interviewing candidates
• Partnering with your account manager to identify top accounts, target skill sets and key market segments
• Building and maintaining relationships with industry contacts to gain knowledge, and generate referrals and sales leads
• Performing various customer service-related activities
• Giving back to your community by volunteering and partnering with various philanthropic organizations

Job Requirements

• Associates Degree or higher (preferred)
• Customer- or sales- focused experience
• Experience collaborating in a team environment

• Interested service members can receive support applying to a SkillBridge program by contacting your local transition office, education office or installation SkillBridge point of contact. (If you’re deployed at a remote installation, please contact DOD SkillBridge for assistance.)
• Apply for Aston Carter’s DOD SkillBridge Military and Veteran Resource Program. Aston Carter provides program participants ample growth opportunities, complemented by a team that will help you learn new skills for promotion and development along your career path.
• Once accepted to a SkillBridge program, submit acceptance to your unit and installation for final approval.
