ASSYST's Information Assurance and Cybersecurity Practice is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support the Cyber Risk Reporting on the development of enhanced data analytics, process automation, and facilitate risk-based management by providing actionable information to the Cybersecurity leadership. The chosen individual will be working in a high-impact mission-critical security environment providing technical expertise, and leadership to cybersecurity investigations.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for collecting and interpreting data, analyzing results, and reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business
• Identify patterns and trends in Cybersecurity data sets
• Engage directly with cybersecurity SMEs to identify and define use-cases and requirements.
• Engage in continuous data reporting improvement activities to facilitate faster risk responses
• Provide actionable information to enable agency leadership to make risk-based decisions to fix critical problems first
• Work with Cybersecurity analysts and Report Developers to support the development of processes and technologies that solve cybersecurity problems.

• Bachelor's degree or higher Computer Science, Data Science, or Statistics
• Relevant experience as a data scientist, data analyst, data engineer applying predictive modeling techniques and analytics to develop actionable insights
• Possesses strong knowledge of security research, statistics, programming, data mining, machine learning, algorithms, and advanced mathematics.
• Excellent programming skills such as in Python, Scala, R, or SQL
• Familiarity with Cybersecurity data and analytics
• Knowledge of and/or experience with computer vulnerabilities
• Ability to communicate comprehensive knowledge effectively across multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience in data analysis, feature engineering, data visualization, and hypotheses testing
