The Surety Account Coordinator assists the Account Executives, Account Managers and Producers by processing work associated with surety bond accounts and handling department-related tasks, such as electronic filing, drafting correspondences and applications, setting up for and providing real-time scheduling support for either virtual, teleconference or in-person meetings, maintaining client/contact database, submitting for and obtaining results from underwriters, reporting results to appropriate people or companies, and logistical support for on-time delivery and billing of bonds.

What You'll Do:

  • Enters data accurately into various system applications, online portals, and fillable forms.
  • Follows company guidelines and departmental SOPs with precision
  • Scans/Uploads files into appropriate folders and document management systems, maintaining the organization and integrity of the files by utilizing standard naming conventions
  • Composes routine correspondence and e-mails
  • Assists service staff with bond holder and carrier billing questions
  • Assists service staff with policy entry and billing into agency management system (EPIC)
  • Assists service staff and producers with special projects
  • Assists in the editing of copy and assembly of folders for marketing purposes
  • Schedules conference calls and books travel arrangements
  • Runs credit reports and pulls D&B reports
  • Coordinates with various office-related vendors
  • Processes shipping labels
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Advanced degree from college or technical school; or 1-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Tech savvy; ability to learn multiple systems
  • Comfortable with database management software; cloud-based software; spreadsheet software, such as Office 365, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Commitment to accuracy and thoroughness, and meets challenges with resourcefulness.
  • Insurance/Surety/Construction Industry Experience is a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
