General Responsibilities:
The ILSP Enrollment Service Representative assists participants with completing enrollment paperwork and answering questions about HR documents, vendor applications, payroll questions, and invoices/claims via phone and email.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Gather information on hours worked for each employee
  • Read, prioritize, and summarize all correspondence, including mail, email, and phone calls
  • Use available resources efficiently to assess the participant's/vendors' issues and recommend valid solutions
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate team member and supervisor.
  • Record details of each participant/vendor interaction and actions taken on the Communications log and in FMS.
  • Proven work experience as an HR Onboarding Specialist
  • Proven experience in Customer Service
  • Basic knowledge of labor legislation
  • Solid communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience in computer software, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and HR software
  • Team spirit
  • An ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Experience in Human Resources or a similar field
  • Follow up on any participant/vendor issues requiring additional research
  • Maintain adequate knowledge of all internal software and systems
  • Transcribe information into the required electronic format
  • Adheres to company internal policies and procedures and all federal and state laws/regulations.
  • Understands and adheres to best practices and business ethics standards.
  • Demonstrates professional behavior and serves as a role model to the staff at all times.
  • Abides by ASD’s Core ASD's daily.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
Who You Are:
  • Excellent communication skills via telephone, email, and in person.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Strong analytical and judgment skills
  • Ability to effectively use computer software, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, email, and HR software
  • General math, clerical, and data entry experience and proficiency
  • Solid understanding of onboarding best practices
  • Strong Understanding of Customer Service
  • Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent; BSc/BA in business, accounting, or relevant field is a plus
  • The high degree of professionalism and confidentiality regarding all aspects of the position and its responsibilities
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, often competing, priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Client-first mentality with the ability to interact with internal and external clients at all levels 
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
