Association Home Care is Hiring a Home Health Aide Near Hillsborough, FL

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and outings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in memory care, caregiving, home care, or hospice care is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to understand and follow medical instructions
- Ability to cook nutritious meals for clients based on dietary restrictions or preferences
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional boundaries
- Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
