Associates In Family Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Rochester, NH

We are hiring and seeking an experienced dental assistant to enhance our team and make our office even more efficient and pleasant for our wonderful patients.

A great assistant is essential for ensuring our patients have a positive experience and ensure their dental appointments go smoothly. Our ideal candidate would have a great attitude, strong work ethic and excellent inter-personal skills to assist in making sure patients are comfortable and informed about their dental treatments. They would enjoy working together as a team, and be able to communicate effectively.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, proficient knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology; ability to multi-task in a clinical environment; have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, have strong organization skills and be computer proficient. Radiology license is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for treatments ensuring their comfort
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
  • Undertake lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
  • Schedule appointments
  • Maintain accurate patient records/notes

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
