We are currently looking for a part time Dental Hygienist to join our family oriented practice. We are looking for someone who is motivated, has a warm, friendly disposition, strong attention to detail, organizational and multi-tasking skills, who is looking to be part of a team focused on excellent customer service and patient care.

As a general dental office who has been around for over 40 years, we strive to make sure each patient has a positive dental experience by providing them the best care possible. Responsibilities:

• Strive to provide the best patient experience
• Listen, empathize and address all patient concerns
• Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
• Provide clear communication and education on treatment plans and maintaining oral health.
• Oversee operatory set-up and clean-up, including sterilization process.
• Take radiographs/x-rays
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
• Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis

Qualifications

• CRP Certification- Radiography/x-ray certification per state guidelines
• Valid license to practice
• Well versed in dental terminology and procedures

• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
• Maintains a positive, collaborative, and supportive disposition with team and patients
• Maintain compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA, and CE training).
• Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
