We are a fast-paced cardiology practice seeking a cheerful and personable individual to join our front office team in a full-time receptionist role.
Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Greeting patients in a friendly and courteous manner
· Answering a multi-line phone system
· Disseminating information in a timely and efficient manner
· Scheduling appointments
· Verifying insurances and referrals
· Data entry of demographics in a computerized electronic health record
· Insurance Prior Authorization
Qualifications:
- HS diploma/GED
- Excellent communication skills
- Accuracy in transcribing information
- Must be able to commit to a full-time schedule of Monday through Friday
