Maryland Oncology Hematology was founded in 1986 by Dr. Jon Minford and was the first to provide medical oncology and hematology care to residents in the growing Howard county area of Maryland. Over the years MOH has continued to grow to become the largest community-based Oncology/Hematology practice in the state of Maryland. Currently, MOH has 13 locations and 400+ employees. Our practice locations include Columbia, Lanham, Clinton, Brandywine, Silver Spring, Laurel, Rockville, Bethesda, Germantown, Frederick, Mt. Airy, and Annapolis. Our services have also expanded beyond Oncology to include... Radiation Oncology, Genetics, Clinical Research, Behavioral Health, and various surgical specialties. We currently have over 60 Physicians and Advance Practice Professionals to provide care to over 50,000 patients. Maryland Oncology Hematology is united in healing with The US Oncology Network, one of the nations largest community-based cancer treatment and research networks focused on advancing cancer care in America. As an affiliate of The US Oncology Network, Maryland Oncology Hematology is united with approximately 1,600 physicians and 10,000 cancer professionals nationwide. Maryland Oncology Hematology participates in clinical trials through US Oncology Research, which has helped to develop FDA approved cancer therapies.
