Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, leading a team of warehouse associates, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Physically and systemically receive all service spare parts, repairs, and aftersales and project orders
- Coordinate with satellite locations on inventory movements and shipping preparation
- Verify all inbound and outbound shipments against pick slips and Bill of Landings
- Inspect all inbound shipments for damage
- Prepare shipments for projects and technicians
- Conduct monthly cycle counts/bin verifications
- Year-end physical inventory
- Design, organize and maintain physical warehouse keeping Business Unit items separate from other business
- Complete and maintain bin and product labeling
- Report and communicate weekly KPIs to Delivery Center in Columbus, OH
- Miscellaneous office needs
Requirements:
- Must be able to accurately enter data into the system.
- Familiar with preparing shipments (UPS & USPS)
- Computer knowledge
- ERP system knowledge a plus
- 5-S knowledge a plus
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse setting
- Self-starter
- Travel 10-15% (Houston, San Antonio, Austin, New Orleans)
