Summary of the Mining Technician I position:
- Location: Kearney, Nebraska
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM
- Compensation: $23/hour
Responsibilities of the Mining Technician I:
- Maintain and repair mining equipment to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform troubleshooting and implement preventive maintenance procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections on mining equipment to identify and address potential issues.
- Collaborate with mining engineers and team members to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all mining operations.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new mining equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and efficiency.
Requirements for the Mining Technician I position:
- No experience needed; we will train the right candidate with a good work ethic and excellent attendance.
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, mechanical or computer-related fields is a plus.
- Ability to lift 30-50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors.
- Excellent attendance is a must.
- Ability to read manuals, paperwork and communicate effectively with co-workers.
