We are seeking assembly help for an Aurora company! The General Assembly Operator will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the assembly and manufacturing of electronic components. The role primarily involves hand soldering, potting processes, stuffing and inspection of intricate electronic components. Attention to detail, excellent eyesight and the ability to work with tiny parts are crucial for success in this position. The use of specialized equipment, such as microscopes and special lights, will be provided to assist in performing these tasks.
Key Responsibilities of the General Assembly Operator:

• Hand Soldering: Precisely solder electronic components according to specified guidelines and quality standards.
• Potting Process: Assist in the potting of electronic components to protect them from environmental factors.
• Stuffing: Accurately place and secure components into electronic assemblies.
• Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of assembled components to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Pattern and Mapsheet: Follow pattern and mapsheet instructions for component assembly.
• Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure the quality of the assembled components.

Qualifications for the General Assembly Operator position:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good eyesight as well as the ability to work with tiny components.
• Ability to follow pattern and mapsheet instructions.
• Comfortable working in a 60-degree environment.
• Basic English language skills.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Overtime may be available in the morning or afternoon

Dress Code:

• Casual attire: jeans, t-shirts and sweatshirts.
• Closed-toe shoes are required.
• Layered clothing is recommended due to a 60-degree work environment.
• One Bluetooth earpiece is allowed for listening to music while working.

Compensation:

• Starting wage of $13 per hour, dependent on experience (DOE)
