Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those requiring personalized care.

Duties:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support individuals with mobility needs and help them move around their living spaces
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Help clients with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for clients

Skills:

- Experience or knowledge in caring for individuals in settings such as geriatrics in Nursing home settings or home health care settings.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and healthcare team members
- Empathy and patience to provide compassionate care to individuals in vulnerable situations
- Ability to adapt to different client needs and preferences
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage daily care routines efficiently

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
