Regional Sales Manager

4Front is looking for a Regional Sales Manager in the Southwest Territory.

This is a remote position for the SW territory of the United States, and you are expected to live in your territory. Territory includes: Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah

What you will be doing

  • Direct and coordinate promotion of products and services through dealer network and direct sales to end-users.
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and past experience.
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and talks with customers in person or by phone. Includes cold-calling.
  • Display or demonstrate product, using samples or catalog, and emphasize the features and benefits for the entire HPD product catalogue.
  • Manage the entire sales process including quotation, presentations, initiation customer setup and prepares sales contracts and order write up for won projects.
  • Generate reports for National Sales Manager (Forecast, Call Reports and Expense Reports). Part of each day is spent on communication (phone, fax email).
  • Collaborate with marketing and inside sales/business development to help identify new market segments for existing products and service.
  • Coordinate dealer and customer training. Sales goals need to be established for each dealer and region.
  • Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
  • Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts
  • Attend trade shows
  • Travel up to 75%

What we are looking for

  • Superior communication skills are required. Being responsive and timely to customer requests and expectations are mandatory.
  • Five years selling industrial goods or related products
  • Must understand the target audience within assigned territory
  • Knowledge of complete product line, sales territory, & market awareness
  • Knowledge of selling skills, practices, techniques, negotiation
  • Skill in transfer of product and competitive knowledge to dealers / customers
  • Ability to prepare and execute yearly strategic plan, manage a dealer, and maintain territory database
  • Ability to analyze and interpret specifications and prepare quotations
  • Ability to prepare and present sales training for dealers / customers, architects, and/or engineers
