- Overseeing day-to-day operations in the designated production area.
- Communicating products, policies, and procedures to staff as necessary.
- Promoting the growth of staff development, including training and performance management.
- Ensuring all production documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Ensuring sufficient staffing levels to maintain optimum levels of output.
- Monitoring performance to metrics; managing resources and priorities to achieve targets.
- Adhering to, and enforce security, quality and environmental health and safety policies, procedures and controls.
- Ability to work well under pressure and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
- Must possesses the ability to work at a fast pace with very high attention to detail.
- Must be able to work sitting down and/or standing up for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, scoop, and reach to perform above duties.
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a minimum of 2-5 years of manufacturing experience as a supervisor, including some lead person experience. Manufacturing knowledge of access control devices is highly desired.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to ‘roll up sleeves’ and dive deep into tactical work when necessary.
- Good interpersonal skills, willingness to learn and continue to grow professionally.
- Strong team player and ability to work well with others.
