ASR International is Hiring a Physical Security Policy Analyst Near Washington, DC

ASR International Corporation, has an exciting opportunity for a Physical Security Policy Analyst.
The Physical Security Policy Analyst will provide Physical Security Policy development support, Cross Functional Team support, Integrated Process Team Support, and Physical Security Equipment sustainment support to the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) Navy Security Force (N34). This will primarily include drafting and reviewing policy documents, as well as proposing recommendations for N34 in relation to both Physical and Electronic Security.
Location: Washington Naval Yard, D.C.

Job Description:

  • Review/Draft/Propose rewrites of N34 policy.
  • Analyze Navy policy including recommended courses of action (COAs)
  • Analyze Navy doctrine relating to Physical Security
  • Assist with staffing and process the adjudication of comments.
  • Review and provide comparative analysis of current senior level policy, guidance, and Directive Type Memorandums (DTMs).
  • Recommend changes to ensure N34 remains compliant.
  • Assist in conducting Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities (DOTMLPF) analysis.
  • Identify associated impacts to N34 of new and revised policy and doctrine.
  • Provide Physical Security Equipment Management support as required.
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of Physical Security electronic security system requirements, including the identification of processes and procedures to be utilized across the N34 Enterprise.
  • Process Move Add Change (MAC) requests to validate electronic security requirements.
  • Collect Access Control Point profile data, including:
    • Automated Vehicle Gates
    • Electronic Security Systems
    • Final Denial Barriers
    • Unauthorized Vehicle Access
  • Develop spreadsheets, briefing slides, policy and doctrine, analysis results and recommendations, and notional Operational Views (OVs) depicting operational nodes.
  • Develop requirements for electronic security systems and physical security program development including:
    • Initial Capability Documents (ICDs),
    • Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and
    • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide data including:
    • drafts,
    • working papers,
    • final documents,
    • submitted comment/recommendation memorandum (CRM)
    • adjudication remarks.
  • Support N34 in resource generation/identification and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) planning as required.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and will be required to obtain a DOD SECRET Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience in a business or technical field.
  • Possess extensive and current knowledge of Navy Force Protection Physical Security Program requirements, concepts, methodology and training requirements.
  • Have extensive experience in providing command level briefings and doctrine.
  • Possess extensive and current knowledge in management principles, concepts and techniques, project management, website and data management, data plans, project tracking, document management and the Command, Control, Communications and Computer Intelligence (C4I) suite.
  • Possess extensive, current, knowledge of N6S, Public Safety Systems policies, procedures and processes.
  • Possess extensive and current knowledge of information management systems and their effective application to Navy Force Protection Programs.
