ALTA IT Services is Hiring a Policy Analyst with Security Clearance Near Washington, DC
Clearance required per client: TS/SCI Mainly remote may need to go onsite 3-4 times a year This is a perm w2 role ALTA IT is hiring Policy Analyst for as a direct hire for the client. You will interpret business needs and project requirements and select appropriate responses to data and information sharing challenges. You will work with key business stakeholders, IT experts, and subject-matter experts to plan and deliver optimal data solutions for specific use cases. You will also perform non-technical analyses on project issues and help to ensure technical implementations follow data management expectations. Responsibilities: • Interpret business needs and project requirements as it pertains to policy, governance and data management. • Work with Privacy and Civil Rights / Civil Liberties offices to ensure compliance with oversight responsibilities. • Analyze and select appropriate responses to data and information sharing challenges. • Work with key business stakeholders, IT experts, and subject-matter experts to plan and deliver optimal data governance and policy solutions for specific use cases. • Perform non-technical analyses on project issues and help to ensure technical implementations follow data management expectations. • Occasionally (as needed) support to off-hours deployment such as evening or weekends. • Create and manage product roadmaps that reflect both innovation and growth strategies. • Partner with a government product owner and a product team of 7-8 FTEs. • Develop and maintain artifacts. • Coordinate and document dataflows, capabilities, etc. Qualifications: • Active TS-SCI clearance • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy, Political Science or International Relations, or related degree program from an Accredited University/School/College with 2 years demonstrated policy and requirements management experience. • Solid understanding of the policy development, analytical tradecraft, and change management process. • Experience working with technical POCs to translate operations concept, system and product designs, and requirements into developing policy documents. • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team. • Experience drafting, reviewing, and coordinating policy requirements across various stakeholders. • Proficient organization and communication skills. • Comfortable with daily client engagement.
