JOB SUMMARY
The Experimental Learning and Career Development Program Manager a is responsible for promoting Aspire’s mission of creating access for scholars to be college, career, and life ready by leveraging relationships within local, regional, state, and national communities to ensure students have the means, opportunity, and preparation to succeed in college and in the workplace. The Experimental Learning and Career Development Program Manager
helps to coordinate and lead the implementation and ongoing improvement of our early college pathways and other work-based learning initiatives as it aligns with our early college, career exposure, and Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Programs, Operations, and Management
Develop and execute MOUs and partnership agreements with partner organizations
Help develop and execute a comprehensive early college, career, and externship program across the region
Monitor and manage pathways data, key deliverables, and student/site/and region progress
Support the development of pathway marketing materials, communication plan, and celebratory events (pathway newsletter, pathway section on school website, social media presence, environmental print, family updates, etc.)
Data collection and reporting of early college program, career pathways, and externship data with the appropriate stakeholders
Assist, monitor, and manage alumni data tracking to help promote understanding of, and inform, program effectiveness and development
Leads development of early college, career, and internship/externship knowledge development for students, families, and Aspire teammates
Monitor commencement and key program dates for early college and career pathways and share with the appropriate stakeholders
Leads and facilitate communities of practices (CoP) for teammates in similar work across the region to identify best practices, address areas of need and growth, review data, etc to inform the continued development of a strong early college, career exposure, and CTE program
Work-Based Learning
Researches, identifies, cultivates, and foster long-term relationships with the local industry partners and pathway teachers to develop course progression pathways and work-based learning experiences aligned to industry need
Coordinate and manage a continuum of work-based learning opportunities with external partners for new and established early college, career exposure, and CTE pathways
Support school sites with the integration of career concepts and work-based learning opportunities into academic courses and with the school community more broadly
Support school sites in the inclusion of family partnership opportunities in support of pathway implementation and enhancement
Additional:
Work in collaboration with Principal and Regional Office to achieve site and organizational goals
Perform other related duties as related and assigned including but not limited to student supervision, small group student advising, etc.
Demonstrate knowledge of and commitment to Aspire Public Schools’ mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior
QUALIFICATIONS
Competencies:
Demonstrated commitment to students and learning
Knowledge of early college programming and guided college pathways preferable (or interest in learning)

Our salary range based on years of experience for this position type is reflected here: $86,087 - $110,512 per year.
