Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will provide support and assistance to individuals and families facing various challenges. Your role will involve assessing needs, developing care plans, and connecting clients with appropriate resources. Duties: - Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualized care plans - Provide counseling and support to individuals, families, and groups - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care - Assist clients in accessing community resources and services - Advocate for clients' rights and help them navigate complex systems - Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans - Document all interactions and maintain accurate records - Stay updated on current research and best practices in social work Skills: - Strong knowledge of social work principles, theories, and practices - Experience working with diverse populations, including pediatrics, seniors, and individuals with special needs - Proficient in conducting individual and group therapy sessions - Familiarity with coding systems for billing purposes - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professional boundaries - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Knowledge of clinical research methodologies is a plus Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field - Valid social work license or certification (if applicable) - Previous experience in a social work role preferred Please note that all positions at our organization are paid positions, including internships.
