The Sustainability Engineer will provide strategic, tactical and hands-on support to help achieve Aspen’s long-term sustainability goals, which include achieving carbon neutrality by 2035. This position will focus on our climate impact and environmental portfolio, including monitoring our Company emissions reduction strategy to meet our targets and compiling our annual greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting across Scopes 1 and 2. The position is responsible for collaborating on external reporting, customer diligence requests, and regulatory compliance in coordination with relevant stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, be able to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
The Sustainability Engineer will participate in cross-functional projects with the goal of implementing solutions pertaining to Aspen’s sustainability strategy. Strong organizational and program/project management skills are required to optimize the performance of the cross-functional teams pursuing climate impact solutions.
The ideal candidate will be an environmental and sustainability specialist with at least 5 years of industrial experience identifying and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to execute upon sustainability initiatives. Verifiable experience required in GHG emissions accounting/inventory, reporting and monitoring.
