Aspen Aerogels has a summer internship opportunity in the Human Resources team. We are looking for a performance-driven person who understands the importance of collaboration and customer focus. This opportunity provides exposure to a variety of specialization and generalist assignments across the HR function, with a particular focus on HR communications and change management. This will be a hybrid role in our Northborough, MA based location.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with building out an HR communications strategy leveraging multi-channel communications (eg email, newsletter, intranet, etc.)
• Support change management/communications for new HR technology implementation project
• Provide support to key HR projects as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Rising junior or senior, pursuing a BS/BA degree in Business, Human Resources Management, Marketing, Communications, or Management with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0
• Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects
• Strong presentation and communication skills; candidate should feel comfortable presenting to senior leaders
• Advanced computer skills, particularly adept at excel and PowerPoint 
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with initial direction and guidance
