Job Description

Summary

The Security Manager is responsible for overall protection and security of all verticals of operations at AspenOne, and will safeguard and monitor property around all Mountains. The Security Manager will work in conjunction with local law enforcement agencies in preventing crimes against AspenOne. They will also work closely with the managers and supervisors in each department, maintaining a pleasant, professional relationship with people in each location, and any guests directly encountered. 

The budgeted pay range for this position is $25- $32.50 per hour. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience.

Essential Job Functions 

  • Position is responsible and accountable for the safe delivery of report envelopes to auditing and deposits to the bank. 
  • Delivering change orders back to revenue offices. There are 4 Mountain locations to visit daily; this includes all revenue centers. 
  • Perform theft report and analysis for any theft related issues at AspenOne. 
  • Other projects/ audits as needed directed by the SVP of Accounting and Treasury. 
  • Maintenance of company vehicle. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • Experience in security or law enforcement required. 
  • Proven record of honesty, integrity, and a strong attention to detail 
  • Must be able to ski or snowboard to perform on Mountain audits as needed 
  • Valid driver’s license 
  • Bonded preferred 
  • College degree preferred 
  • Ability to work hours which will be outside of normal business working hours.

Supervision Given and Received
Supervision Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Supervision Received: Works under general supervision of the Accounting Manager, Audit/ Internal Control and will work under the guidance of the Auditing Manager in the event the Accounting Manager is out of the office. Receives continuing or individual assignments according to supervisor’s directions and may perform routine tasks. Expectations of the quality, quantity, and deadlines are clearly set. Instructions, advice, and assistance will be available as needed. Work will be reviewed on demand or during scheduled check-ins. 

Work Environment and Physical Demands
Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift, executing repetitive movements. 
No adverse or hazardous conditions. 
Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50lbs.).
