Production Dept Manager - Construction

Seeking a construction production manager with many years of experience, specifically in roofing, siding and gutters. Their overall job will be to supervise and lead project managers along with managing their own projects. This position will report to the VP of Production.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of Project Managers while managing own projects.

Report department activities to executive leadership.

Create and order materials, crews and dumpsters.

Schedule deliveries and returns.

Communicate frequently and effectively with customers regarding their project status.

Communicate respectfully and effectively with suppliers, crews and team members.

Qualifications:

Ability to step into the position ready to hit the ground running.

A strong history of leadership with experience in a high paced construction project management environment

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Computer competency for data entry, reports and schedules.

Ability to fulfill the company's standards and values when performing all tasks.

Display kindness and be open to providing scheduling accommodations to customers or staff.

Detailed oriented and organized.

Ability to muti-task and work well under pressure.

Ability to quickly problem solve and adapt to change.

Ability to forecast for project scheduling.

Proven track record in fostering strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, team members and customers.

Experienced in construction industry: Roofing, Siding and Gutters

• Monday to Friday
• On call every 4th weekend

Preferred Experience:

• Degree in construction management
• Production Management: 3 years
• Production Scheduling: 4 years (Roofing Company Preferred)
• Knowledge of the construction field (specifically roofing and siding)
• Past construction leadership experance
