Introduction to the Job
ASML US, including its affiliates and subsidiaries, brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Headquartered in Veldhoven, Netherlands, we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Ariz., San Jose and San Diego, Calif., Wilton, Conn., and Hillsboro, Ore.
ASML Brion, located in San Jose, CA, is the world leader in developing computational lithography software which enables customers to have the best process window enhancement solution for their ASML DUV and EUV scanners, as well as the best process window control solution to mitigate the process variation during the scanner operation, providing a holistic lithographic solution for advanced nodes in the semiconductor industry.
This position is specifically for computational lithography modeling. ASML Tachyon model is the bedrock on which other computational lithography applications (e.g., OPC, LMC, SMO) are built on, and is the foundation for fast and accurate full-chip applications.
Product engineer is the bridge between product and customer applications. Product engineer owns application technical specification requirements for new products, best practice development for standard or customized applications, and 2nd-line product support.
