**Introduction to the job**

This position is based at our San Diego, CA campus and reports to the Head of Warehouse Management for the site.You will be representing warehouse management by collaborating with site leadership, global logistics team, IT, finance and 3PL management to drive optimization of Warehouse Management Systems and processes the improve overall efficiency and role clarity between the 3PL and ASML.

This position is focused on the standardization of the processes with which ASML runs warehouses worldwide. To facilitate the standardization, we will develop and implement an interface with our logistic service providers to connect our ERP systems with the warehouse management system (WMS) from the logistic service providers.This position interacts with functional groups (IT, supplier, operations, finance) to address current state, concerns, and opportunities.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

**Role and responsibilities**

* Develop gap assessment and roadmap to enable Implementation of 3PLs Warehouse Management System (WMS) by collaborating with department leaders and IT to develop an interface tool (3PLUS) that will link our ERP systems to the WMS.

* Manages the scope, tactical execution and progress management summary of the 3PLUS interface tool implementation plan using project management tools.

* Applies methodologies like process mapping to define scope, user acceptance testing to ensure quality of deliverables and defines performance metrics to track process adherence to ensure the benefits of the improvements can be realized.

* Provides regular updates to core team and management governance to highlight accomplishments, risks/issues, help needed and overall progress of the projects being managed.

* Analyzes cost and business impact of proposed process or IT changes.

* Contributes to cross department/sector projects as a subject matter expert.

* Trains and directs engagement with stakeholders on changes and new way of working.

* Collaborates directly with 3PL Program Manager to drive implementation of process improvements

* Will require domestics and international travel (up to 25%) to scope projects and benchmark other sites.

**Education and experience**

* Requires a bachelors degree in a Technical or Business-Related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* A minimum of three years of experience in project management preferably in the semiconductor capital equipment or manufacturing environment.

* Ability to analyze and streamline business processes. Project management expertise.

* Experience in driving customer needs, being proactive and understanding customer requirements ahead of time.

* Ability to train others and be trained on new processes, etc., with new and existing customers.

* Cross functional experience in a large organization, multi-national, fast paced industry.

* IT system implementation expertise desired.

* Knowledge of SAP, 3PLUs and ORACLE a plus.

* AA degree requires 10 years of experience
